  Wine-ter Fest kicks off the holiday season at Cherry Creek Cellars! Inspired by German markets, Wine-ter fest bring a bier tent, wine (including hot wine), German inspired cuisine, shopping vendors, live music, photo ops, and a Sunday Kid's day. All ages welcome! $5 entry fee or canned good donation.

  Featured Artist Series @ WaterFire w/ Laura Schichtel

  Join us for a jewelry shopping experience with Laura Schichtel, a local metalsmith and jewelry designer! Laura will be with us in the WaterFire tasting room on Sunday, December 10th, from 1-5 PM. Grab a glass of wine and come check out her work. She may have that unique gift you’re looking for this holiday season!

  About Laura: Laura collects raw rocks, polishes them, and creates the settings. Her bespoke, intentional woodland-style jewelry uses a mixture of metals, including 14k gold, Argentium sterling silver, copper, brass, bronze, and even Christmas tins. To create the desired look, she cuts, saws, embosses, and hammers parts, then combines them with a torch (soldering) and/or cold connections like rivets. She has done art fairs for over the states for 30 years and has exhibited her work in MI, OH, WI, VA, FL, OR, and NY. She has sold internationally as well. Laura has a collection of ribbons and awards to go along with her years of work and experience.

  Live Music at WaterFire w/ Artists James Dake & Jenn of Terra Lily

  

  James Dake, Elk Rapids local, will play live at WaterFire Vineyards on Sunday, December 17th, from 1-5 PM. Joining him is Jenn from Terra Lily Designs with Stained Glass Earrings. Enjoy a glass of wine and relax with live acoustic music by James while browsing Jenn's work!

  About James: James is a member of the band Headwaters and has played in several establishments locally, including WaterFire Vineyard. He brings his acoustic sounds with a mix of folk, rock, and blues.

  About Jenn: I am a glass artist from Michigan who creates pieces that reflect my love of the natural world. Each pair of earrings is handmade in a studio that belonged to my late mother-in-law. I am honored to carry on this art through my earrings and will soon expand my work to include larger stained glass designs.
